Water Year Type
PCWA’s Federal Energy Regulatory Commission license contains requirements that set minimum stream flows based on the water year type. A water year is from October 1 to September 30 each year. The stream flows vary based on location, resources and hydrology.
The current water year has been designated as below normal based on the Department of Water Resources Bulletin 120 May forecast (May 8, 2024).
